TCU Forensics achieves success at U. of Kentucky

TCU Forensics attended the second annual Bluegrass Invitational tournament at the University of Kentucky this past weekend. The Frogs took four competitors to Lexington, Kent.
In parliamentary debate, the team of Kelsey Fahler and Timothy Betts advanced to the quarterfinal round before falling to Grove City College. Betts also earned fifth parliamentary debate speaker. Fahler also placed fifth in editorial impromptu speaking, sixth in rhetorical criticism and fifth in individual sweepstakes. Betts was the tournament champion in rhetorical criticism. He also took second in poetry interpretation and third in individual sweepstakes. Newcomer Duy Pham placed sixth in extemporaneous speaking in his collegiate debate debut.
TCU Forensics hits the road again in two weeks. They will head to the Golden Eagle Invitational at John Brown University in Siloam Springs, Arkansas.
